Pet of the Week: Boots

Say hello to beautiful Boots! This six-year-old darling is waiting patiently at for her new home. Outgoing and inquisitive by nature, she would be perfect for someone who is looking for an all-around great dog. 

It’s easy to confuse Boots with a much younger dog at times. She’s very active, so she is looking for an owner who can provide her with ample daily exercise. A fenced yard is necessary for her so she will have every opportunity to burn off excess energy. One way to achieve this is to entice her with the ever so simple tennis ball. Seventy-pound Boots is absolutely ball crazy, so this is a great way to have fun and tire her out!

Boots has not lived with cats before, but she is good with other dogs and absolutely adores people of all ages. She has one quirk - she does not like bicycles, and needs strict management when they are rolling by. Because of this need, we recommend that Boots live with adults and children who are older, thus able to actively help with management in this area. 

Boots truly is a special dog. She’s affectionate, attentive, and so deserving of a special home. She would make a great running or hiking companion, and at day’s end, she’ll curl up contentedly beside the one she loves. She will be a wonderful addition to the lucky family that chooses to adopt her.
