Pet of the Week: Carmen

This multicolored cat is waiting for a new home.

Carmen is a wide eyed and bushy tailed teenager who is less than a year old and waiting at for a new owner to come and get her.

This lively and rambunctious gal has loads of energy and is looking for a fun, active family to keep her entertained. Carmen is a short haired tortoiseshell cat. She has a huge purr and is quite friendly when she decides to take a break from playtime. Carmen would do best in a home with older children or adults who are around a lot to keep her entertained.

Homeward Pet will be able to help even more animals like Carmen, when it moves into a new building this fall. More than twice the size of the current facility, the new location will allow the non-profit organization to care for more animals and expand its veterinary clinic to provide more low-cost spay, neuter and microchip services to the community. Homeward Pet is funded entirely by private donations.
