Pet of the Week: Twyla

This playful tabby is waiting for a family to adopt her.

This one year-old good lookin’ gal at is a very pretty light brown, almost fawn colored, tabby. Twyla is polite and very laid back in her kennel, but the minute she gets in Homeward Pet’s cat playroom she goes through a personality transformation! This girl channels her ‘inner kitten’ and makes up for lost time by chasing her catnip toys and running up and down the cat tree. She has boundless energy and is a joy to play with!

Come on in to Homeward Pet and meet this young cat who is here from another overcrowded city shelter. She will require, and deserves, some play time, some affection time and some alone time, which will make her a delightful member of the family.Twyla is a lovely feline!

All homeless animals deserve to have a loving, permanent home. Unfortunately, not all of them wind up in a no-kill shelter like Homeward Pet, or any shelter at all.  You can help to control the number of kittens and puppies that are born, and end up homeless, or worse, euthanized, by spaying or neutering your cat or dog.  Homeward Pet offers low-cost spay/neuter surgeries every Wednesday. Call (425) 488-4444 ext 410 to make an appointment.
