Power Could Be Out Until Tuesday for Some in Woodinville

PSE's latest restoration update shows the Woodinville, Redmond, Bothell, Carnation and Duvall areas won't get power fully restored for more than another day.

For some area residents who still don't have power after last week's snow, ice and wind storms, you might be in for another couple of dark, cold nights.

Puget Sound Energy's restoration information page shows the final customers without power in the Woodinivlle area (including Cottage Brook, Avondale, Lake Leota, Hollywood Hill areas) should get it back by early evening Tuesday. For Redmond it should be by Tuesday morning, Bothell and Carnation byt late evening Tuesday, and Duvall by late evening Monday.

It's not totally clear how many of you are still without power. According to PSE's service alert map, just 52 customers in Woodinville are without power. But looking at a broader area using a zip code search, there could be slightly more than 2,000 customers still without power.

I am one of those 52 residents without power on 178th Ave NE. I'm sitting in Banner Bank - less their hearts, they let me use their computer - and I can tell you that we haven't seen anyone from PSE working on our street. We have power all around us - just not on our street. They don't plow it either, but that is another story. Is there anything you can do to help? When you have a farm, you can't just pack up and go to a hotel!
