Shy, Quiet, Sugar Needs a Home

Sugar is one of those overlooked, quieter kitties who all of the volunteers and staff at Homeward Pet Adoption Center love.

Sometimes the best kitties at the shelter are the ones that are right under your nose. Maybe that special kitty was asleep when you visited or maybe you walked right by one that shines brightest only when in a one-on-one situation.

Sugar is one of those overlooked, quieter kitties who all of the volunteers and staff at love. When it gets noisy, she sometimes retreats to a corner in her cage and visitors just don’t get to see the sweetheart that we know and love - a pretty 5-year-old tabby who loves to roll over for tummy rubs and can’t get enough touching. In a quieter home, Sugar will be just as sweet as her name. The overlooked cats like Sugar are just waiting for someone to light the fire inside of them. Just give the quiet, the older, the laid-back felines a chance, and you’ll find that these unsung heroes will turn out to be the best companions ever.
