Woodinville Pet of the Week: Megs

This teenager is extremely intelligent and she learns very quickly. Like many teens, she needs structure and guidance.

Megs is a playful young dog who was found as a stray in the Everett area. After her owners could not be found, she came to for a second chance at finding a home. Megs is a nine-month-old adolescent who is very curious about the world around her, and she’s eager to explore. She weighs 48 pounds and is growing fast. Now is the time for her new owner to enroll her in training classes, included with every adoption from Homeward Pet, which will help her develop into a well-rounded adult. She’s extremely intelligent and she learns very quickly, so the sky is the limit for her.

Megs is a high energy dog that will need plenty of daily exercise and a fenced yard. She also needs to stay busy and engaged to remain happy and satisfied. Some house training work and slow introductions to new dogs may be necessary. She hasn't been around cats before, and would be best suited for kids over eight years old who are sturdy enough to handle her rambunctious nature. Megs has great potential and she'll be a fantastic dog for someone who is willing to provide her with structure and guidance. This active and outgoing sweetheart is ready to settle in and love to her heart’s content. All she needs is a chance to prove herself to some lucky person.
