It was a fantastic tournament for our young Woodinville High School Wrestling team. As a team we finished second, behind only Issaquah who brought an army of good wrestlers with them. We had 4 KingCo Champions (3 seniors and 1 sophomore). The team is off to Regional next on Feb. 11.

These results mean we are taking 10 competitors (placers 1st-5th) and 1 alternate (6th place) to Regionals. To put this in perspective, we only took 5 last year. In addition here are some more stats to ponder .....
- We had 4 champions, 2 more than any other team.
- We had 6 guys in the final, tied with Issaquah for the most.
- We had 10 placers, tied for second behind Issaquah.
- We had 3 sophomores in the finals, no other team had more than 1 and there were a total of 6.
- We had 2 repeat champions
- We had the Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament
