Wranglers to “Rock” Big Daddy’s June 2

Big Daddy’s Place, 13420 NE 177th Place, along with Mad Mike Presents is hosting the second annual Rock-N-Jock Benefit” show for the Northshore Wranglers Special Olympics Team, Thursday June 2.

The Wranglers, part of the Woodinville community since 1998, caters to children and teens with intellectual disabilities, and includes basketball, bowling, dances and training for the Special Olympics. Since the city canceled its recreation program because of budget cuts, the program now operates in partnership with the Northshore Senior Center in Bothell. 

Thursday’s big event is a family-friendly show, according to, the shows promoter. The evening starts at 7 p.m. and features the “underage” bands Shotty, Third Attempt and Miles From Monday.

A raffle and live auction will be held during the event. Entry is free, donations welcome. The Northshore Wranglers is a non-profit 501(c)3 program creating opportunities for people with disabilities of all ages.
