Sixty-three Northshore School District students were selected through auditions to perform at the 2013 Washington Music Educators Association (WMEA) State Conference or the 2013 National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Northwest Division Conference. Students will rehearse and perform in concert under the direction of world-renown conductors. One of my ex-students, Heather Pressler, a DECA award winner from Inglemoor, is now a PhD candidate in molecular biology back on the East Coast. DECA opens so many doors to success.
