Over 440 DECA (Distributive Educational Clubs of America) students form Bothell, Inglemoor and Woodinville high schools participated in the Area III DECA Marketing Competition January 10 and earned 203 of the 354 available invitations to compete at the state competition March 7–9 in Bellevue, Wash. This impressive finish garnered the high school chapters an unprecedented 57% of the Area III invitations.
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. More than 185,000 high school members participate in DECA through 5,000 chapters in all 50 states and 8 countries.
