The Woodinville Heritage Museum is open to the public Sunday, May 5, from 1 to 4 pm. Admission is free.
The museum is housed in the pioneer DeYoung House at 14221 NE 171st St., one block east of 140th Avenue NE. One exhibit room contains a display of Woodinville's 10 early-day general stores, including artifacts and photos. Another room features photos and information depicting the history of the DeYoung family.
` The museum will begin its summer schedule May 26 (Memorial Day weekend) when it is open every Sunday from 1 to 4 pm through Labor Day weekend.
A new exhibit coming in July will spotlight the Hollywood Farm founded in 1913, the Hollywood Poultry Farm and the historic Stimson Mansion. The property now houses Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery.
