Caring Host Families needed in Duvall vicinity!
Our organization, EF Educational Homestay Programs is a non-profit division of Education First (EF). Founded in 1965, EF's mission is to break down barriers of language, culture and geography. We have been a non-profit since 1979 and have arranged escorted group travel to the United States for thousands of international students. We bring students from other countries that want to improve their English language skills, make lifelong friendships and travel abroad to learn about the culture of their hosting community.
We will have Chinese students between the ages of 10-14 visiting Duvall July 31-August 19. The students take English classes in the morning at Cherry Valley Elementary and do various field trips and activities in the afternoons. Host families are welcome to come to these activities as well! Evenings and weekends, students will be with their host families doing whatever activities you would like so they can really immerse themselves in American life and culture. Volunteer Host Families are asked to provide a bed, meals, and a welcoming environment in which the student can be immersed.
