Is the Woodinville Patch going to be dead? And if so when?

As much as I dislike Patch 2.0 (especially the forum software, which is atrociously bad), I hope not. If only because there are already too many out of work journalists, and you can never have too many news sources.

This is very disappointing. The Patch is where I go first for local news. It's goig to leave a big hole in what's going on in Woodinville. We are a small town and the things that are important to us don't make it into the larger news sources. Like Edward said, we need info from different sources. Thank You Lisa for being a great source of info for us. We wish you well.

I must have missed something. Is the Patch retiring? It's been a wonderful resource for local news, and I hope the demise is just a rumor.

Hi Kim. I hope it's not true, but here is a link - http://www.geekwire.com/2013/community-news-site-patch-pulls-plug-washington-state-lays-staffers/#disqus_thread
