DeYoung Family buys Evergreen Hospital Board – AND what else:
Donna DeYoung, Lucy DeYoung & Al DeYoung are buying our hospital board. Why is the Chairman of the Evergreen Hospital Board (Al DeYoung) infusing $60,000 into Kinnon Williams’s election bid for an Evergreen Hospital Board seat? To guarantee more votes for his agenda as Board Chair?

Toby Nixon commented below this story:
Al DeYoung's committee "Keep Evergreen Health Improving Sponsored by Al DeYoung" has now -- on Monday, October 21, filed a PDC C-6 report declaring that the $25,081.99 they spent on the mail piece in support of Kinnon Williams was an "electioneering communication" -- in other words, an independent expenditure. It now shows up on the PDC database linked to the Kinnon Williams campaign. So now, finally, people who look up Kinnon Williams on the PDC web site can directly see the entire $55,081.99 that Al DeYoung and his family have spent on the Kinnon Williams campaign. But isn't it weird that they failed to file this C-6 report until AFTER I posted my comment below on October 19? Would they have not filed it at all if me or someone else hadn't pointed out that it was missing?

What about Woodinville? Woodinville Chamber of Commerce Director, Dave Witt stated in the Woodinville Weekly “The Chamber advocates for issues, not candidates, Witt said”. But earlier this year Dave Witt was calling around Woodinville with Lucy DeYoung trying to find potential candidates to run against Mayor Talmas. Then attacked the Mayor at a Chamber event. Is this where all the money for the anonymous unethical group calling itself “ethical Woodinville” coming from?
