Northshore Seeks Parent/Community Member Applicants for Elementary Report Card Committee

Northshore School District is seeking applicants for the Elementary Report Card Committee. There are three openings for parents/community members on the 15-member committee. In addition to the three parent representatives, the committee will have six administrators and six teacher representatives. These voluntary positions are appointed by the assistant superintendent in coordination with the president of the Northshore Education Association and will last for the 2013-14 school year.

The committee will study, develop and redesign semester report cards and quarterly progress reports and provide resources and guidance for meaningful parent/teacher conferences.

The committee will meet approximately monthly during the school day throughout the school year beginning in September. The schedule of meeting dates and times will be determined when all members of the committee have been identified.

Applications are due to the Communications Office, 3330 Monte Villa Parkway, Bothell, WA 98021, by Sept. 6. Committee members will be notified of their selection by Sept. 13.
