Power Outage

I spoke to one of the crews Sunday morning before the power returned and learned some details about the outage:

There was a tree that fell on the 115kV power lines that supply the Leota substation.  The lines also fell on the lower voltage neighborhood trunks and causing more damage.

I watched about 8-10 utility and tree trimming trucks roll out along 195th street and then the power returned about 2 minutes later at 7:35am.

The crews had been working to repair the damage and this particular crew came from Yakima.

Perhaps someone has more details or pictures of the damage to add.
