A New Home For Homeward Pet

The no-kill animal shelter is moving to new digs this fall.

, Woodinville’s only no-kill animal shelter, is moving into a more spacious home this fall, according to Franni Holman, spokesperson for the non-profit organization.

“It will give us nearly twice the amount of space we have now,” she said. “It means we’ll be able to expand our low-cost veterinary services.”

The new location will also allow Homeward Pet to house more animals. Just down the road from the current location, the new space will be easier for visitors to locate and access. It is also accessible to the Sammamish River Trail which allowing shelter volunteers safer areas to walk the dogs, Holman said.
