Kelsey Creek Farm’s history as a farm dates back to 1921 when tree stump-covered land was cleared for what became a popular family-operated dairy called Twin Valley Farm.

The City of Bellevue began purchasing the land for Kelsey Creek Farm beginning in 1968. The fair began in the 1980s as a holiday art event for park art classes. The entire event was housed in the Education Barn and had approximately 200 visitors.
