The family of the boy killed in the Newtown, CT school shootings who has ties to Woodinville plans to move to the Seattle area in 2013, Noah Pozner's mother told the Jewish Daily Forward recently.

The Jewish Daily Forward reported, "Sometime in 2013, [Noah Pozner's mother] Veronique says, she plans to move her family again, this time to the Seattle area where much of her extended family lives. They will be taking Noah’s body with them."

The Woodinville uncle of 6-year-old Noah Pozner, Alexis Haller, has acted as spokesman at times for the family since the tragedy on Dec. 14.

Haller read the eulogy at Noah's funeral, according to an AP report posted on KIRO TV's website.

He also spoke to media about Noah, describing him as "smart as a whip," gentle but with a rambunctious streak, according to an Associated Press story on the Huffington Post website.

Haller also appeared on the NBC Today Show to speak about scams associated with the shooting.

Are you really certain that Noa's family wants their privacy invaded to the degree to which you have done so by publishing this article?
Steven W December 29, 2012 at 10:08 pm
Doesn't seem to me there was much privacy invaded - the mother spoke to the media about her plans to move, and the rest of the info was obtained from other media sources provided by the family?

May God bless all the families who lost a loved one and give them peace, love & joy on their new journeys whether they move on to other states or whether they stay in Newton... My prayers are with all of them! This is also for any one who lost a family member last year...

The family did a long interview and extended story with a newspaper. Did you read the linked story? Or are you just eager to bash the media whenever you can?

Hello Mr. Francois and NSD School Board, I have been keeping an open mind about the choice ofRead More Wednesday as the early release day. I kept an open mind, but not so open that my brains fell out. I voted for Friday for a reason. Not to take my child out of school early or in hopes that teachers would see it as a day off, but because it made the most sense for my family. Wednesday wasn't a horrible day and was my 2nd choice. Personally, now, after reviewing others input, your input and doing some thinking on my own, I believe you made the wrong choice. Your parents have brains, we are educated and we gave you our opinion and trusted that you would actually use the poll data wisely. You failed us, therefore you failed our children. It is okay so say you made a mistake, that is what we teach our children. Please tell your parents you made a mistake and make Friday early release day for the new school year. Positively hopeful! I have lived in Woodinville for over18 years. For around 5 years after we moved there on any warmRead More summer night you could look up and see at least 3 balloons and many times 4,5,6 or 7 of them but that all stopped abruptly one year. The explanation we got was that the balloonist were following the French historical practice of awarding a bottle of champagne to any land owner who's land they happened to land on. Well, the state couldn't allow that since the balloonist had no liquor license. Don't you just love government?
