Featured Announcement: Homeward Pet Adoption Center's New Digs

Sunday marked the grand opening of Homeward Pet's new facility.

Homeward Pet Adoption Center is in its new digs and had a Grand Opening Sunday, Nov. 20 to celebrate.

More than twice the size of the previous shelter, the new building at 13132 NE 177th Pl, allows to rescue, shelter and adopt more cats and dogs and expand their veterinary clinic to provide more low-cost spay, neuter and microchip services to the community. Because the building was designed and constructed just for Homeward Pet, the new facility allows them to provide the best possible care for homeless dogs and cats, and provide an improved adopter and volunteer experience.

Homeward Pet is a no-kill shelter, non-profit animal adoption center which cares for homeless animals from all over Washington State, whether surrendered by owners, transferred from other rescue organizations, or removed from shelters that euthanize. For more than 20 years, Homeward Pet has given these animals a second chance through rescue, shelter, and adoption. With the amazing efforts of 16 employees, 200 volunteers and the generous support of donors, Homeward Pet helps over 1,300 dogs and cats find new homes each year.
