Why Go: Nothing says summer quite like the sound of an old-time fiddle. OK, some sunshine probably wouldn't hurt, either. Hopefully both will be present at this Friday’s Arts in the Parks performance, which features the sounds of The Tallboys, a Seattle-based old time string band. Why Go: Who doesn't love finishing up a good workout with an even better meal? The RAC to Redhook Fitness Run combines the best of both worlds by guiding participants on a flat, 4.5-mile run from RAC to Redhook Brewery in Woodinville. The event includes fun fitness challenges at each mile marker, and all proceeds benefit Hopelink.
