Eggstra Eggstra: 25,000 Eggs for the Great Community Egg Hunt Sunday in Woodinville

Here are some events we know about. Whether it's Holy Week services, an egg hunt or an Easter brunch, we want to hear about yours and share it with the community. Post your events for free.

NorthCreek Church officials posted on Facebook Saturday that they have eggs galore for the Great Community Egg Hunt Sunday.

Our latest count is 25,000 eggs! ... Can't wait!

The Great Community Egg Hunt happens at 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 24 at Woodinville Sports Fields. Organizers from NorthCreek Church are touting 20,000 eggs for kids from age 1-10. Those age 1-4 should be ready to hunt at 1 p.m. in different waves, while those in grades K-5 will start in waves at 1:30 p.m. The event will go on rain or shine and will include face-painting and bounce-house romping. Arrive early to find parking, organizers say.

Here are a few more events we already know about, thanks in part to our great Patch readers who posted some of them in our calendar of events:

• Woodinville Community United Methodist Church in Woodinville is holding an Easter Sunday Sonrise Service at 7 a.m. "to see the sun rise and celebrate our Risen Lord and Saviour!"

• Woodinville Community United Methodist Church and New Life Church congregations are holding a joint service at 10:30 a.m. on Easter at Woodinville Community United Methodist Church.

• 21 Acres in Woodinville is holding a class on March 23 called “Dyeing Eggs Naturally.’ Color with organic vegetable dye and decorate with sprouts, tendrils and leaves. Call 425-481-1500 for more information.

• Barking Frog is offering both an a la carte menu in the Frog on Easter, as well as a buffet style brunch in the Sammamish Ballroom at Willows Lodge. After brunch, children may participate in the special Easter Scavenger Hunt around the property. Meet Borage and Basil the resident pot-belly pigs and see the beautiful gardens at Willows Lodge. Click here for more information.

If your church, organization or business is holding a special event, or your restaurant is putting on an Easter brunch, post them on Patch for free.

If you're not sure where to start, check out this handy step-by-step guide (with a video tutorial) to posting events on Patch we've created. A hint: adding a photo will make your event "pop" on the events listing page.

Congratulations to Inglemoor and Woodinville DECA teams. I knew you'd do us proud. NorthshoreRead More School District's DECA program has been winning awards for years. One of my ex-students, Heather Pressler, a DECA award winner from Inglemoor, is now a PhD candidate in molecular biology back on the East Coast. DECA opens so many doors to success.

I have been extremely frustrated in the past in trying to effectively communicate with Frontier. MyRead More developing sense was one of very poor live support. I find it refreshing to see Frontier respond in a timely manner to this very public assertion. One can hope this is also occurring in your phone support, especially after hours...

I have spoken to Mr. Gaulke and assured him we are not cutting speeds in the Woodinville market (orRead More any of our markets). We are working with him to approach his technical issues from scratch and will do all we can to alleviate his concerns about his speeds. His business, and all the business from our customers in the Woodinville market is very valuable to us. While we are disappointed to receive feedback his service is not living up to our standards, we are grateful for the opportunity to work with Mr. Gaulke and keep his valuable business. We welcome inquiries from other customers if there is anything we can do to improve. Please reach out to me at 425.275.8579 and let us know how we can help. Frontier has spent the past three years expanding broadband to hundreds of thousands of homes acrossRead More the US and increasing speeds in many of our markets. Mr. Gaulke’s experience and recount of his conversation with one of our reps comes as a surprise to us. We are checking our records to find out what the possible miscommunication could have been. In the meantime, let us be clear: We are not decreasing speeds in Woodinvile, or any of our markets for that matter. We will be reaching out to Mr. Gaulke to see if we can alleviate any lingering concerns. Christy Reap Frontier Communications
