More Rain Headed to Woodinville This Weekend

Local residents may see small hail and thunderstorms this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

This weekend’s Woodinville weather will seem nothing like what we experienced for Easter.

Up to one and a half inches of rain fell over the Western Washington lowlands through Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service. Similar amounts are expected again Friday night.

Some areas of Western Washington may even see small hail and thunderstorms this weekend.

Here’s the weekend forecast for Woodinville:

Friday Night: Rain. Low around 48. South wind 7 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent.

Saturday: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Some of the storms could produce small hail. High near 53. Southwest wind 11 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent.

Saturday Night: Rain. Low around 43. Southwest wind 8 to 13 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent.

Sunday: Rain before noon, then showers after noon. High near 50. North wind 8 to 15 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent.

Sunday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 41. Northwest wind around 8 mph becoming south after midnight.
