Pet of the Week: Daisy

A good choice for someone looking for a lab-type dog that isn't too big.

Are you looking for an active dog who’s a lot of fun? Come to Homeward Pet Adoption Center and meet Daisy! She’s a sweet seven-year-old who is looking for a new home after her previous owner became unable to care for her. She’s weighs a trim 42 pounds, making her a good choice for someone looking for a lab-type dog that isn’t too big.

Daisy loves to run and play, and she will make an excellent running or hiking companion. Although she is not particularly good with cats, she is compatible with larger dogs. Daisy has a condition that prevents her from blinking her left eye, so she will require eye drops on a daily basis. She really wants people to know that this is a minor condition that doesn’t cause her any problems.

This special girl is best suited for a home with kids over the age of eight years old. Daisy isn’t asking for too much, just a loving home with a family that wants to give her a second chance.  If she seems like the dog for you, please consider visiting her at Homeward Pet soon!
