Pet of the Week: Sasha

At six years old Sasha loves playing with toys, going for walks and demonstrating the several commands she knows.

Are you looking for a small dog with lots of potential? Meet Sasha! At six years old Sasha loves playing with toys, going for walks and demonstrating the several commands she knows. She comes to us by way of the Yakima area after her owner became unable to care for her.

She can be outgoing and quite cuddly once she feels comfortable, but still very shy at times depending on the situation. Sasha is nervous when confronted with something unfamiliar, therefore, she needs to be placed with patient adults and kids over 12 years old who can let her acclimate at her own speed and not ask too much of her initially.

She is described as being a couch potato when she wants to be, but also very active and fast when the mood strikes her to be "squirrel like." She is compatible with both dogs and cats. This little 13 pounder is a gem waiting to be discovered, and she’s patiently awaiting visitors.
