Update: 9:59 a.m. The power was restored to customers at 9:43 a.m, PSE officials said. The cause was a rodent that had gotten into the underground cable system.
Puget Sound Energy has confirmed that some customers in Woodinville's Hollywood Hill are without power this morning.
The power outage, which occured at 8:05 a.m., affects 23 Puget Sound Energy customers, said Dorothy Bracken of Puget Sound Energy.
PSE service crews, based in North King County, are on site to determine the cause of the outage.
The affected area is served by an underground power cable. As soon as PSE service crews determine the cause of the outage and needed repairs, electric service will be restored to the 23 customers, Bracken said.
Area resident Sheila Parks Whalen posted on Woodinville Patch's Facebook page:
There was a giant boom just after 8 am close by here on HH and the lights flickered. Neighbors are out of power. We still have ours :)
Electric service seems to be working in the tourist district as a Tully's employee said lights are on at their coffee house.
