Powerball Jackpot Rolls to $245 Million

What: Washingtonians, let your imaginations run wild… the Powerball Jackpot has reached $245 million! That’s enough money to host a luxury tailgate every week of this year’s football season (up to $15 million each week) for at least 67,000 fans in Seattle. 

When: The jackpot rose to $245 million on Saturday, September 7. The next drawing will take placeWednesday, September 11, at 8:00 p.m.

Where: Powerball tickets for Wednesday’s $245 million drawing are available for purchase at Washington’s Lottery retailer locations until 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11. Sales for the next drawing, Saturday, September 14, will resume at 8:01 p.m. on Wednesday evening. You can find Washington’s Lottery retail locations here.

Why: A Washingtonian wouldn’t be the only winner if their Powerball numbers are drawn. If this Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot winner is from Washington, the retailer that sold the ticket will receive a $50,000 selling bonus.
