Reminder: Bring Interest to the Garden, Free Seminar September 10

Garden expert Susie Egan will talk about how to make gardens interesting in winter.

Winter does not have to mean a boring garden; there are plenty of plants that can add color and interest to the garden, according to Susie Egan, owner of , a Woodinville-based landscape and design business. Egan is also a WSU Master Gardener and writer for Woodinville Patch. Read her stories here.

The , in partnership with the WSU Extension Master Gardener Program and the Saving Water Partnership is sponsoring a free seminar on winter gardening the seminar Sept. 10, 10-11:30 a.m. at the water district’s office, 17238 NE Woodinville-Duvall Road.

A Master Gardener plant clinic, where you can ask experts about gardening, is from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The seminar is free limited to the first 50 people to register. Register by email at publicinfo@woodinvillewater.com or call 425-487-4102.
