Woodinville Farmers Market Report: Strawberries

This week look for strawberries at the Woodinville Farmers Market.

"Oh, I love strawberries. Just think - sliced and tossed into cereal, or on top of ice cream, or in some Greek yogurt," said Michael Charlton, president of the Woodinville Farmers Market. "Or perhaps dipped in chocolate and accompanied by a little champagne. The possibilities are endless."

The heads of lettuce have been huge this season and an incredible value he added. "Fresh, local, and tasty - what more could you want?"

Did you find Dad a little gift?  Why not a tye die shirt to inspire his free spirit?

The  is on 133rd Ave. NE, right beside City Hall. The farmers market is Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Fall.
