Wilder Elementary's Troop 40443 is heading to California!

, sixth grade girls from will ceremoniously cross the Golden Gate Bridge on Saturday, May 7 in a day-long event in San Francisco’s Presidio. Bridging is a traditional Girl Scout celebration of accomplishments where girls make the transition from the younger girl to the older girl program.

More than 5,400 Girl Scouts from 13 states will walk across one of the country’s most famous bridges to commemorate their advancement through Girl Scouting at the 30th annual Golden Gate Bridging – and Girl Scouts from Woodinville will be a part of this West Coast tradition this year!

Participating in Golden Gate Bridging, on one of the most beautiful bridges in the world, makes the bridging process even more special for Troop 40443.  These girls have been planning to attend Golden Gate Bridging for two years which included research, planning and training to be ready for a three night trip, as well as fundraising and saving proceeds from Girl Scout Cookie sales.
