KCLS librarian Pamela Hunter picks current popular books for teens.

Staying with a previous theme of Patch Picks, celebrating March as , we asked local Pamela Hunter to pick great teen reads for March. Pamela specializes in the teen section of the local branch of the King County Library System, the section with the really cool egg-shaped chair. For this list she chose the increasingly popular teen paranormal fantasy genre. Here are her picks:

City of Fallen Angels, by Cassandra Clare

In this, the latest in the Mortal Instruments series, mysterious murders threaten the new peace between Shadowhunters and Downworlders, and only Simon, the Daylighter vampire, can help bring both groups together.

 Plague, by Michael Grant

A deadly, flu-like epidemic and a plague of flesh-eating creatures threaten the lives of the children at Perdido Beach in this newest installment in Michael Grant's Gone series.

 Invincible, by Sherrilyn Kenyon

The Chronicles of Nick series carries on with Invincible, the continuing saga of New Orleans teen, Nick Gautier, who is definitely not your typical teenager, considering he has to deal with vampires and zombies on a regular basis.
