  • Where/When: 9 p.m. - 12 a.m. Fri, April 1 at  in Kirkland.
  • Why Go: If you're looking for live music this weekend, the Yuppie Pawn might be your best choice. The Late September Dogs put on a great show and seeing them unplugged will be a treat regardless of your music taste. Don't take my word for it though, sample a few tracks from the LSD Myspace Page.
  • Cost: There's never a cover at the Yuppie Pawn, shows are always free.

NCAA March Madness - Final Four at Rooney's Food And Spirits

  • Where/When: 3 p.m. Sat, April 2 at Rooney's Food And Spirits.
  • Why Go: March Madness is almost over and your best bet to catch the final four locally this Saturday is at Rooney's. They'll have both games up on the big screens, so all you need to do is grab some friends and get some food, drinks and enjoy the games!
  • Pricing: No cover.

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Sat, April 2. Start at the  in Bellevue, then spend the day hiking in the Snoqualmie Pass area.
  • Why Go: Just because it's Spring doesn't mean you can't pick up a new winter activity. There's been plenty of snow fall this past week, and with any luck you'll get a beautiful sunny day of snowshoeing in on Saturday. 
  • Pricing: $30 per person, registration required.

  • Where/When: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sat, April 2 at  in Sammamish.
  • Why Go: Love garage sale shopping, but hate driving from sale to sale following those cardboard "garage sale" signs? Your in luck, because over 100 Sammamish families have banned together to create a HUGE garage sale. This Saturday you'll only need to type on address into that GPS of yours, Creekside Elementary. Come and browse nick-nack after nick-nack and hopefully walk away with a treasure.
  • Cost: Admission is free.


  • Where/When: 8- 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at  in Redmond.
  • Why Go: If you've never been to a SecondStory Repertory production you're truly missing out. They always put on a great show and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee should be no exception. Expect a night filled with laughs and music you can tap your foot to.
  • Pricing: Tickets range from $21 - $27. Purchase tickets online here.


  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sat, April 2 at the Othello Event Center in Seattle.
  • Why Go: Be the first of your friends to check out this brand new public market in Seattle. The market will represent cultures from all around the world, think of it as an "International Pike Place." Looking for hard to find foreign spices? The Othello Public Market is probably your best bet.
  • Pricing: Admission is free.
