Woodinville Water District’s Seminar Saturday: Drip Irrigation

How to save money and water and still keep you landscape looking great is the subject of this month's seminar.

The for June is all about converting a sprinkler system to a drip irrigation system to save both water and money.

Horticulturist and Conservation Specialist Paula Anderson will explain how to take off an existing sprinkler head in your yard and convert an area, such as a shrub bed or vegetable garden, to drip irrigation. Go through the changeover from start to finish and you will see how easy, and even fun, this is to do, according to Anderson. The presentation includes a PowerPoint and a demonstration of drip irrigation products. Each attendee will receive a free DVD on drip irrigation to take home.

The seminar will be followed by a Master Gardener plant clinic where you can ask experts about gardening.
