City Gets New Sculpture From Woodinville Garden Club
The bronze sculpture, being installed on Oct. 27, will be the entry art for the Woodinville Sports Fields.
A new Art Sculpture will be installed on Oct. 27, at the entrance on 131st Avenue NE, thanks to a generous donation from the Woodinville Garden Club. The art sculpture featuring rabbits climbing on a baseball glove is a donation from the Woodinville Garden Club and designed and built by northwest artist Georgia Gerber.
The new sculpture is a playful 4.5-foot tall bronze baseball glove that will mark the entry point off 131st Avenue NE to the Woodinville Sports Fields. The city provided a concrete pad for the sculpture and will provide lighting and landscaping after the sculpture has been placed, according to a press release from the city Thursday.
