Award-winning singer-songwriter and local Seattle favorite David Roth returns on his 2012 tour of the Northwest from his home in New England. With a career spanning decades and multiple CDs to his credit, Roth moves effortlessly among songs of inspiration, humor, politics and the human condition which never fails to leave audiences wanting more.
In addition to his music, in 2011 he embarked on a trip with a group of volunteers to Peru led by the Seattle organization Crooked Trails, to assist in building ovens in village homes at the top of the Andes. Crooked Trails, Roth and Woodinville residents are heading for Peru again in May, and these journeys are reflected in Roth's performances.
Don't miss this one-of-a-kind evening with a brilliant songwriter, singer, guitarist and entertainer. Opening for Roth is Heather O'Neill, a witty and provocative blues recording artist who has moved to Seattle in recent days from Chicago. Tickets are $15 in advance from Brown Paper Tickets and are $20 at the door.
