Artist Reception Patrick Whiteat Isenhoer Cellars

Join us for our Artist Reception with Patrick White.
  Born in the country of Kent, England, Patrick spent extended periods of time in the English countryside and became fascinated with landscapes. As a trained Geographer, his geographical & geological background influenced the variety of landscapes he drew.    While teaching at Bethlehem University, he became a self-taught watercolor artist. He was struck by the clarity and quality of light in the landscapes. Once in the Northwest, his watercolors continued to include the sense of history, sense of place, of perspective and certain architectural detail.    Patrick would claim that his art has a spiritual inspiration reflecting the beauty of nature, the seasons, and the interplay of human activities on the earth surface. A watercolor is a meditation reflecting the sense of place and the distant murmurs of a summer day.
