Concert in the Park

As part of the new the city is hosting a free concert at on the 4th of July. Three bands will play family-friendly music from the afternoon to early evening, giving people plenty of time to picnic and listen to music before heading off somewhere else to see fireworks displayed.

If you’re not keen on bringing your own picnic there will be popular food trucks on hand during the concert including:

  • 1:30-3 p.m.—Fusion, is a group of high school students, but don’t think garage band, this group of musicians play blues, pop, soul, Latin, and uptempo jazz.
  • 3:30-5 p.m.—Brian Butler Blues Band has been a popular draw in the Northwest for years performing high-energy blues at Bumbershoot and other regional music festivals.
  • 5:30-7 p.m.—The Freckles Brown Band plays both original and classic rock
