Salmon Return Family Festival

The Seattle Art Museum invites parents, teens and kids to drop in to the FREE Salmon Return Family Festival on Saturday, September 10, from 10 am to 3 pm. The Salmon Return Family Festival is presented by Target.

Arts and crafts, live music performances, Northwest Native American storytelling, and more activate the park throughout the day. The theme of this event is green, and environmental partners have been invited to share their activities with families. Kids will have opportunities to bead jewelry, create salmon print flags, get their face painted, chalk the sidewalk, take an art tours created especially for kids, and play games, all while learning how to protect and improve Seattle’s environment.
