Wine Tasting & Holiday Wreath Making

Olympic Nursery presents wine tasting and wreath making.

Toast the holiday season with local wine from Trouvaille Winery (1-4 pm) a local micro winery nestled in the Hollywood Hill neighborhood.  Trouvaille focuses on red wine blends.  $5 tasting fee.

2006 Trouvaille Winery, Cabernet Sauvignon, utilizing Cabernet Sauvignon from Klipsun Vineyard on Red Mountain and from RiverRock Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley as well as Cabernet Franc from the Rattlesnake Hills.  It is an elegant, polished wine, with beautiful notes of blackberry, cassis, cherry, cinnamon, and well integrated tannins on a smooth finish.
 
2008 Trouvaille Winery, The Hun, a blend featuring Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, containing Cabernet Sauvignon from RiverRock Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley and from Klipsun Vineyard on Red Mountain, as well as Malbec from the Wahluke Slope.  A blend featuring black cherry, raspberry, currant, earthy undertones, with a hint of chocolate on the finish.

Make an evergreen holiday wreath 11 am - 4 pm ($20). Both activities take place at Olympic Nursery and are to benefit Sammamish Valley Alliance that supports "local, sustainable, small-farm agriculture...through educational outreach."
