  • Where/When: 3-4 p.m. on Sat, Dec. 18 at the .
  • Why Go: The sights and sounds of The Dickens Carolers have become a Woodinville tradition and quite the holiday treat! Visit the Woodinville Library this Satday and enjoy the carolers, adorned in elegant Victorian dress, sing traditional and contemporary holiday favorites in beautiful four-part harmony. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Woodinville Library, who will be serving cider and cookies before and after the performance.
  • Pricing: Free. 

  • Where/When: 5-7 p.m. on Sat, Dec. 17 at in Woodinville.
  • Why Go: Join Apex at Alder Ridge this Saturday for their second annual Sparkling Holiday Party. Enjoy new releases of Sparkling Wines as well as the featured wines Apex Sparkling Brut, Apex Sparkling Riesling and Apex Sparkling Red Wine. Live music featuring: May Palmer, The Queen of Ivory Soul. May will serenade the crowd with holiday favorites.
  • Pricing: Free. 10% off bottle purchases and 20% off case purchases during this event.
  • Where/When: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily at Molbak’s in Woodinville.
  • Why Go: Join Molbak’s for their annual Festival of Poinsettias this weekend. Enjoy live music, snap your family’s holiday photo in front of Molbak’s famous 14-foot-high tall poinsettia tree, browse the 25 plus breathtaking varieties of Molbak’s-grown poinsettias, and visit with Santa.

Reindeer Festival at the Cougar Mountain Zoo in Issaquah

  • Where/When: 10 am to 4:30 pm daily, Dec. 1-23, 11 a.m. to 3 pm Dec. 26-30.
  • Why Go: Visit Santa’s reindeer, mail a letter to Santa while waiting to have photos taken with Santa and hear a holiday story read by an elf. While you are at the zoo visit the Bengal tigers and new cougar cubs too.
  • Cost: $12.50 adult or $10.50 two to 12 (includes admission to the entire zoo), under age two are free.

  • Where/When: 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at Carlson Theatre.
  • Why Go: Cornerstone Studio presents its annual production of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker. With a cast of more than 60 dancers portraying the beloved characters of Clara, the Nutcracker Prince, playful mice, toy soldiers, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and more, this ballet is a favorite holiday tradition. Gorgeous costumes and sets make this timeless performance truly unforgettable. Great for the entire family!
  • Pricing: Prices are $20 in advance or $22 at the door.

  • Where/When: 7-9 p.m. on Sat, Dec. 17 at in Bellevue.
  • Why Go: Join the Samena Swim & Recreation Club this Saturday night for their monthly Float In Movie Night. Bring your pool floats, grab the kids, your friends, and neighbors and come for a night of floating in the water while watching a movie on the big screen. This month’s featured film will be The Smurfs.
  • Pricing: $8.
  • Where/When: 3:30 p.m. on Sat, Dec. 17 at.
  • Why Go: Merrill Gardens at Kirkland will celebrate the holiday season this year with a free Holiday Music Festival, featuring live music throughout the month of December. Saturday’s performance will feature the Vivace Quartet.
  • Pricing: All concerts are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

  • Where/When: 7 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday at the .
  • Why Go: KPC's annual sell-out variety show is a true holiday classic, featuring comedians, live music, choirs, specialty acts and surprise guest artists. A perfect dose of entertainment for visiting friends and family of all ages.
  • Pricing: Tickets range between $15 and $27.
  • Where/When: 9:30 a.m. on Sun, Dec. 18 at in Kirkland.
  • Why Go: Join in on this holiday tradition as over 2,500 people take part in this Sunday’s 12K & 5K run/walk at Marina Park. The event includes a free kids dash and a post-race celebration area with exhibitor booths and free food. Holiday costumes are encouraged.
  • Pricing: Registration fees range between $30 and $45.

  • Where/When: 3-5 p.m. on Sat, Dec. 17 at in Redmond.
  • Why Go: Learn a little bit about the history of Washington State this Saturday at McDonald’s Book Exchange. Dr. Lorraine McConaghy will be reading passages from her newest book: New Land North of the Columbia: Historic Documents that Tell Story of Washington State from Territory to Today. Stick around after the readings and get your copy signed.
  • Pricing: Free.
  • Where/When: 8 - 11 p.m. on Fri, Dec. 16 at in Redmond.
  • Why Go: Join the Old Fire House on Friday for an exciting night of local, live music. The line up includes Catalyst, Forgotten Lore, To Paint the Sky, and Numbers. Enjoy the show!
  • Pricing: $7



  • Where/When: 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Francis J. Gaudette Theatre in Issaquah.
  • Why Go: Join the Village Theatre for this weekend for their production of Annie Get Your Gun. The famous Broadway musical tells the ageless love story of the sharpest sharpshooter Annie Oakley and Frank Butler, the heart-throb of Buffalo Bill’s traveling show. This show is sure to delight audiences of all ages.
  • Pricing: Tickets range between $27 and $62.
