Community Tree Lighting is Friday at Chateau Ste. Michelle

There's room for everyone at Woodinville's Chateau Ste. Michelle for the Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, Nov. 30.

A Rockefeller-style tree lighting ceremony for the Woodinville community will take place Friday evening at Chateau Ste. Michelle.

The Community Tree Lighting, created with many partners through Woodinville Wine Country, is free, family-friendly and kicks off the popular St. Nick's Winter in Woodinville weekend of holiday events at area wineries.

The tree lighting will feature free hot cider and popcorn from the Barking Frog, coffee, cookies and candy canes, with live holiday music by the Woodinville High School Choir. Sources say Santa Claus will also make an appearance.
