Columbia Winery: Swirl with your Girls

Friday, October 12th from 7 - 9:30 PM

Our version of a Girl’s Night Out. Columbia Winery will stay open late on October 12th to celebrate women and wine! Starting at 7:00pm, we will begin spoiling our guests with wine tasting, makeup and skincare demonstrations, massage, jewelry and fashion vendors, and more. Grab your girlfriends and start your evening off right. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed group! Price: Open to active club members and their guests only! Tickets must be purchased by a club member. 1-2 tickets = $20 per person 3-5 tickets = $15 per person 6-15 tickets = $10 per person

Kaella Winery: A Retrospective Look - Ciel du Cheval Vineyard Sangiovese

Saturday, October 13th from 6-8 PM

Join us for a very special and unique opportunity to taste multiple vintages of wines made from the same grape, from the same vintage, by the same winemaker. This will be an in depth, connoisseur look at the Sangiovese grape and wines from the highly acclaimed Ciel du Cheval vineyard on Red Mountain. Kaella winemaker Dave Butner will discuss the history of the vineyard with special respect to Sangiovese, and guide guests though a tasting of 7 wines from 4 separate vintages of Sangiovese and Rose’ of Sangiovese wines produced by Kaella, including: • 2009 Sangiovese - Silver Medal winner at the 2012 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Festival, this wine is sold out, but we will taste from our library. • 2010 Sangiovese – This wine is bottled and aging in our cellar. It will be released in November, but we will enjoy a sneak-peek taste ahead of its release. • 2011 Sangiovese – This wine has been in barrel for 1 year and will be bottled in the spring of 2013. We will check in on its progress directly from barrel. • 2012 Sangiovese – We expect this to be fermenting away and we will taste if fresh from the fermentation tank. A unique tasting experience. We will also taste fresh, just crushed Sangiovese grape juice. • 2010 Rose’ of Sangiovese - Silver Medal at 2011 Seattle Wine Awards, is sold out and we will taste from our library. • 2011 Rose’ of Sangiovese – Gold Medal winner at 2012 Seattle Wine Awards and there are a few cases left. • 2012 Rose’ of Sangiovese – This wine will be fermented and aging in tank and we will check in on its young flavors right from the tank. Tickets are $20 per person
