Trouvaille Winery owner and winemaker, Attila Kovacs-Szabo, is used to people asking him to repeat his name. “I usually say, yes, it’s ‘Attila,’ as in 'Attila the Hun',” reports Kovacs-Szabo in a cheerful manner that is not at all Hun-like. So when it came time to name his 2008 wine blend, inspired by his wife, Laurelee Kovacs-Szabo, it was a fun double-entendre to christen it The Hun. Both The Hun and another 2008 release, The Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, will be featured at Trouvaille Winery’s annual release party, Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22, 2011, both days from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Trouvaille Winery, located in Woodinville’s Hollywood Hills neighborhood, is only open to the public this one weekend of the year, though private tastings are available by appointment or by e-mailing attila@trouvaillewinery.com.
