Value Village thrift store has signed a lease to open a new Woodinville location this spring, company officials told Patch Thursday.
Approximately 50 jobs will be created at the store, which partners with the nonprofit organization, Northwest Center. Value Village has partnered with Northwest Center since 1967 and pays the organization for every item donated at the Community Donation Center at Value Village, as well for all items donated directly to Northwest Center through their home pick-up service.
The 35,000 square foot Woodinville store, at 14160 NE Woodinville Duvall Road in the space formerly occupied by QFC, will offer quality secondhand merchandise including clothing and accessories for men, women and children and household goods.
Value Village spokesperson Sara Gaugl said Thursday that the store will open in early May and that it will be the 25th location in Washington.
"We're very excited about it," she said.
The hiring process has begun and those interested in applying for a position at Value Village should visit www.ValueVillage.com for more information. Employment opportunities include back room store merchandise processing positions, sales floor and cashier roles, in both part and full-time.
