Panera Bread Grand Opening Wednesday, Chance for Free Drinks All Summer

The first 500 customers who bring in a non perishable food item will receive a free reusable cup that can be used through Aug. 31, 2011 for free drinks.

On Wednesday June 22, Panera Bread, 13780 NE 175th Street, is celebrating its grand opening with a promotion benefitting Food Lifeline. The first 500 customers who bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for Food Lifeline will receive a reusable cold cup with fountain drink refills available throughout the summer until Aug. 31.

In addition to the launch of the exclusive summer promotion and food drive, Woodinville Mayor Chuck Price and members of the Woodinville Chamber will welcome the new Panera to the community by breaking a giant baguette at the bakery-cafe at about 5:30 p.m.

“We can’t wait to introduce our fresh, wholesome options to the Woodinville community,” said Jayson Levich, joint venture partner for Panera Bread. “Launching this promotion with Food Lifeline is a way to not only celebrate summer, but also encourage the community to give back to those in need.”
