Panera Bread & Café in Woodinville is offering used coffee grounds to the public in honor of Earth Day which is Sunday, April 22. Used . The used grounds release nitrogen, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and other trace minerals back into the soil.
William Baker, general manger of the Woodinville eatery, said the store will give a free small bag of grounds to anyone who asks from now through April 22.
Panera is at 13780 NE 175th Street in downtown Woodinville.
