The man who started a factory in Woodinville last year instead of expanding in China has been featured in a Jobs in America segment on National Public Radio.
Paul Fichter, who designs and makes beer taps, has a factory in China and two in the U.S., including one in Woodinville. Dick Gordon of the NPR show The Story interviewed him about utilizing the benefits of operating in both countries.
Fichter told Gordon that his 40,000 square-foot Woodinville factory is the site where large signs and displays for beer pubs are made.
“We have several dozen workers there now and very busily working on expanding our capacity there," he said in the interview.
