Sutter Home Official Says They Were Ousted for Winery/Tasting Room

at the end of August, was forced to move out of its home at Hollywood Vineyards Retail Center, an official told Patch Thursday.

Mike Duval of Sutter Home and Hearth told Woodinville Patch the following in an email:

We were sad to have to leave the Hollywood Vineyard Center. The Landlord there would not renew our lease and is having another winery/wine tasting room move in. We had to leave at the end of August. It was unexpected for us and we did not have enough time to secure a new Eastside location before our move.  We are actively pursuing a new location and have been in negotiation on several sites that have not come to fruition. We are continuing to look and are optimistic that we will find the right spot in the new year.

Tully's coffee shop in the same shopping mall closed in recent weeks after declaring bankrupcy. Most of the other businesses in that complex are wine-related.

Sutter Home and Hearth has been known for its fireplaces, stoves, grills and outdoor heating since 1979. The showroom in Woodinville featured a wide variety of products on display and in operation.
