Golden Bow Gifts & Flowers has plans to move up the street at some point to the corner building at 15th Ave. N.E. and 179th St. N.E.
Brown's Coffee, the previous occupant at that location, closed in June.
Golden Bow opened seven years ago at its current location at 17715 15th Ave NE Unit B in North City.
Have you ever walked past an empty storefront or vacant lot in Shoreline or Lake Forest Park and thought to yourself, "You know what would be great here…"
Now's your chance.
Patch will feature an empty storefront or vacant lot on a semi-regular basis and ask, "What would you like to see here?"
Some of these locations will have been empty for some time, while others are nearly move-in ready.
For our first installment of "Visions for Vacancy," we'd like to ask what would you like to see at the space in North City at the corner of 15th Ave. N.E. and 179th St. N.E. that formerly housed Brown's Coffee, which was independently owned by Neal Brown.
Brown's closed in June 2012 and Brown said at the time he was "working himself to death," and the "business grew too slowly."
The Brown's Coffee sign, the largest of its kind in Shoreline while it was open, has been taken down and the windows are covered in paper.
What would you like to see there? Tell us in the comment section below.
Do you have an idea for "Visions for Vacany?" Let us know what you'd like to see in this feature by sending a note (and a photo, if you have one) to firstname.lastname@example.org and it just might appear in our next article.
