What's at The Woodinville Farmers Market This WeeK? Aug. 20

Peppers, chilies and pizza.

So for this week red and yellow peppers will be for sale at the as well as the arrival of chilies, according to market president Michael Charlton. But that’s not all that will be for sale Saturday.

“The tomatoes are getting better and the corn [yellow] is very sweet this year,” he said. “Raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and blue berries are available for fruit salad, jam or whatever springs from the imagination of the masses.”

In addition, Charlton said cantaloupes will still be available and there may be some honeydew melons as well.

“And we will welcome 'Rustic Pie' this week. Yep, pizza at the market,” Charlton said.

Rustic Pie Company is a Duvall-based catering business with a mobile wood fire pizza oven. A scheduling conflict mean the pizza company will skip the market next week but plans on being in Woodinville every following Saturday.

The  is on 133rd Ave. NE, right beside City Hall. The farmers market is Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Fall.
